SHIORI (栞)

As a part of the zone, SHIORI (栞) is a simple and, in some ways, personal experiment. It was started because of a real struggle we all experience: losing the suggestions our friends share with us in everyday life. Now, with the help of the project, suggestions shared with Levan have a permanent home.

The main content of the web consists of blocks, which are the simplest rectangles with information in them. the blocks differ from each other by color (pale blue for "WATCH" and soft beige-orange for "READ").

Almost hidden elements of the page are designed to slow down the user (like clicking on the page description, the cursor itself, or a clock that does only one thing: shows the correct time)

Blocks interact with the visitor through hover states. Having in mind that different visual elements will be engaged with the user, triggered by their own actions, I decided not to have any images in their default form on the desktop version of the web. That makes the version look like a sheet in its original form, maintaining the feel of the document (but fun). Having the images on hover creates a feeling of almost an urge to move around, adding more dynamics to the simple, almost static web, and at the same time, extends the average time of the guest’s visit/experience

In the end, it’s a simple form of shared knowledge shaped into the website.
